O Allah, I ask You for knowledge of the unseen, and the ability to do that which is decreed. I ask You for contentment after the decree, and a pleasant life after death. O Allah, I ask You for an increase in faith, a blessing in life, health in the body, abundance in sustenance, repentance before death, mercy at death, and forgiveness after death. O Allah, make the pangs of death easy for us, and save us from the Fire, and forgive us at the time of reckoning.
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilmal gha'ibin, wa qudratan 'alal maqdhur, wa as'aluka ar-rida ba'dal qada', wa barda al-'ayshi ba'dal mawt. Allahumma inni as'aluka ziyadatan fid-deen, wa barakatan fil-'umr, wa sihhatan fil-jasad, wa sa'atan fir-rizq, wa tawbatan qabla al-mawt, wa rahmatan 'inda al-mawt, wa maghfiratan ba'dal mawt. Allahumma hawwin 'alayna fi sakarat al-mawt, wan-najata minan nar, wal-'afwa 'inda al-hisab.
