When to Read

This comprehensive dua is perfect to recite at the beginning of your day, especially before engaging with work, marketing, or any business dealings. It's also beneficial when you encounter advertisements or marketing materials that seem too good to be true, or when you need clarity in your professional life. Reciting it before making important decisions related to your livelihood can invoke Allah's guidance and protection.

How to Read

Make this dua with sincerity and certainty in Allah's response. Raise your hands slightly, face the Qiblah if possible, and recite it with focus. It's best recited after the obligatory prayers or during the times when dua is more readily accepted, such as between the Adhan and Iqamah, or during the last third of the night.

Virtues & Benefits

This dua is a profound supplication for overall well-being in this life and the next. * **Beneficial Knowledge ('Ilman Nafi'an):** Asking for knowledge that benefits you and others, protecting you from ignorance and misguidance, including the subtle misguidance found in deceptive marketing. * **Good Provision (Rizqan Tayyiban):** Seeking lawful and pure sustenance, which protects you from the temptation of ill-gotten gains derived from deceit. Allah (SWT) says: "O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good." (Al-Baqarah 2:168) * **Acceptable Deeds ('Amalan Mutaqabbalan):** Praying for deeds that are accepted by Allah, meaning they are done with sincere intention and in accordance with the Sunnah. This shields you from engaging in or falling prey to corrupt or unacceptable business practices. The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ would often recite this dua in the morning, as it encompasses a holistic request for divine assistance in navigating life's challenges, including economic and social ones.
