اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا.

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.

Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.

When to Read

This dua is excellent to recite before embarking on any new venture, including forming a business partnership. You can say it when you first meet potential partners, when signing agreements, or at the start of each workday with your partner. It sets a positive and righteous intention for the collaboration.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity, raising your hands slightly if possible. Focus on the meaning and ask Allah to bless your partnership with His guidance and favor. It's best recited with a clear mind and a pure heart, seeking only what is lawful and beneficial. Make sure your intention is for a partnership that benefits all involved and is conducted with honesty and integrity.

Virtues & Benefits

This powerful dua, taught by our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, covers the core elements of success in this life and the hereafter. * **'Ilman naafi'an (Beneficial knowledge):** This pertains to knowledge that helps you make sound decisions in your business, understand contracts, and navigate ethical considerations. It also includes knowledge of Allah and His commands, which is the ultimate benefit. * **Rizqan tayyiban (Goodly provision):** This asks for sustenance that is pure, lawful, and abundant, free from any ill-gotten gains or haram sources. It ensures that your business brings you blessings. * **'Amalan mutaqabbalan (Acceptable deeds):** This is the ultimate goal – that your efforts in the partnership are accepted by Allah. This means conducting business with honesty, fairness, and in accordance with Islamic principles, making your work a form of worship. By asking for these three things, you are essentially seeking Allah's blessing on your entire endeavor, from the knowledge you use to the wealth you earn and the actions you take.
