Source & Authentication

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'No one among you will be completely enveloped in faith until he considers his own desires to be subject to what I have brought. And the command of my community will not be established upon sound basis until they follow my example in the time of ease and in the time of hardship. And the worst of the people are those who are stubborn in their opinions and follow their whims. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: 'O Allah, grant me guidance and set me aright.'
