O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from decrepitude, and I seek refuge in You from debt and sin. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from hunger, for it is an evil bedfellow, and I seek refuge in You from treachery, for it is an evil inner self.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabri, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatid-dajjal, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-harami, wa a'udhu bika min gharamin, wa ithmin. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-ju'i, fa innahu bi'sad-dajee', wa a'udhu bika minal-khiyanati, fa innaha bi'sati al-bithanah.

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (ﷺ) used to teach his companions to seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave and from the punishment of the Hellfire, and to seek refuge in Allah from the trial of the Dajjal and from the trial of life and death. He used to say: "When any one of you finishes his Tashahhud, he should seek refuge in Allah from four things, saying: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabr, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatid-dajjal, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-harami, wa a'udhu bika min gharamin, wa ithmin. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-ju'i, fa innahu bi'sad-dajee', wa a'udhu bika minal-khiyanati, fa innaha bi'sati al-bithanah.' " Then he mentioned a similar narration in another place.
