It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what a night I had last night!' He said: 'What happened?' He said: 'I was stung by a scorpion.' He said: 'As for the evening, you should say: *A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq* (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created), and it will not harm you.' (Sahih Muslim 2708)
