Virtues & Benefits
This supplication encompasses three crucial aspects of a believer's life: knowledge, provision, and deeds. Seeking beneficial knowledge helps in understanding our Deen and acting upon it. Asking for goodly provision ensures we are sustained in a lawful manner, avoiding what displeases Allah. Most importantly, asking for accepted deeds is the ultimate goal, as our actions are only valuable if Allah accepts them. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us this dua, indicating its immense significance in seeking Allah's pleasure and success in both worlds.

‘Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah narrated from his father, Talhah ibn ‘Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what words should I say?' He said: 'Say: O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and deeds accepted.' The man recited it, and when his travel came to an end, he said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have been blessed with knowledge, provision and accepted deeds.'
