Narrated by Anas: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah is pleased with His slave who praises Him (says Alhamdulillah) when he eats something and praises Him when he drinks something.' In another narration, it is stated: 'Allah is pleased with His slave who praises Him for every food eaten and for every drink drunk.' Anas also narrated: 'When the Prophet (ﷺ) ate, he would say: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ، غَيْرَ مَكْفِيٍّ وَلاَ مُوَدَّعٍ وَلاَ مُسْتَغْنَى عَنْهُ رَبَّنَا.
