Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) visited Sa'd ibn 'Ubada (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) brought food and they ate. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The righteous have eaten their food, the angels have invoked blessings upon them, and the righteous have been blessed. He also invoked blessings for them and said to them: 'May your food be blessed, may your drink be blessed, may your feasts be blessed, and may you be blessed in your sustenance, and may you be blessed with your companions, for they have neither eaten with you nor prevented you from eating.'
