O Allah, bless us in what You have provided us, forgive us, and have mercy on us.

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There is no house that is provided with food and then the people of the house eat from it, but the angels will invoke blessings upon them until they finish.' He said: 'And they said: What if they are poor or needy?' He said: 'The angels will invoke blessings upon them until they finish.' This is according to the wording of Ibn Rumh. (Another chain) also narrated it from him with this meaning, except that he said: 'There is no man who eats something, then says: Praise be to Allah Who has satisfied me and blessed me with it in a way that is not sufficient, but the (reward for) that will be forgiven.' And he said: 'And there is no man whom Allah has blessed with a blessing, and he says: Praise be to Allah, but that has been sufficient (as thanks for it). And there is no servant whom Allah has given a gift, and he says: Praise be to Allah, except that what he has given is better than what he has taken.' And it was narrated from him: 'There is no man who eats something, then says: Praise be to Allah Who has satisfied me and blessed me with it in a way that is not sufficient, but the (reward for) that will be forgiven.' (The narrator) Abu 'Abdullah said: I heard Abu Hatim say: This is a Hadith with a good chain of narration. The Hadith of Ibn Abi 'Adi is more complete. It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There is no house that is provided with food and then the people of the house eat from it, but the angels will invoke blessings upon them until they finish.'
