All praise is due to Allah, [praise] in abundance, good and blessed. We are not self-sufficient, nor is it the last, nor is it dispensable, our Lord.

Virtues & Benefits
This dua expresses profound gratitude to Allah for His blessings. While it doesn't explicitly mention serving parents, the spirit of gratitude naturally leads one to want to use Allah's blessings – including the strength from food – in ways that please Him. Serving parents is a highly emphasized act of worship in Islam, and being strong and able to do so is a direct result of Allah's provision. This particular phrasing, found in Bukhari, is a comprehensive expression of thankfulness that encompasses all of Allah's gifts.

Narrated Sa'd: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever says after finishing his meal: 'Al-hamdu lillahi hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan feehi, ghayra makfiyyin wa la mawadda'in wa la mustaghna 'anhu Rabbuna.' (All praise is due to Allah, [praise] in abundance, good and blessed. We are not self-sufficient, nor is it the last, nor is it dispensable, our Lord), Allah will be pleased with him."
