Praise be to Allah, [such] praise that is abundant, pure, and blessed. [We praise Him] without being self-sufficient [from Him], nor is He to be abandoned, nor is one free from need of Him, our Lord.

Narrated Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) if he was raised above (the food), he would say: 'Alhamdulillah hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubarakan feehi, ghaira makfiyyin wa la mawadda'in wa la mustaghnan 'anhu Rabbana.' (Praise be to Allah, [such] praise that is abundant, pure, and blessed.
