Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) taught them this dua to be said during the rain: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha wa khayra ma fiha wa khayra ma ursilat bihi, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ma fiha wa sharri ma ursilat bihi.'
