الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا الثَّوْبَ وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
All praise is due to Allah Who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me without any strength or power from myself.

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri: When Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) put on a new garment, he would mention its name, like a turban or a shirt or a cloak, and say: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي مَا أُوَارِي بِهِ عَوْرَتِي وَأَتَجَمَّلُ بِهِ فِي حَيَاتِي. Then he would say: أَبْلُبَلِي خَلَفًا، أَبْلُبَلِي خَلَفًا. (A new garment wears out, and is replaced by another.) And when he put on a ring of iron, he would wear it on his right hand, and when he took it off, he would take it off from his left hand. And when he put on a ring of gold, he would wear it on his left hand, and when he took it off, he would take it off from his right hand. And when he put on his shoes, he would begin with his right foot, and when he took them off, he would begin with his left foot. And when he put on his shirt, he would begin with his right side. And when he took it off, he would take it off from his left side. And when he put on his turban, he would let its ends hang down between his shoulders. Sunan Abi Dawud 4024.
