الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا الثَّوْبَ وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) put on something new to wear, like a shirt or a turban, he would mention its name and say: 'O Allah, for You is all praise as You have given me this.' He would then say: 'O Allah, I ask You for its good and the good of what it was made for, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what it was made for.' And when he wore a garment, he would say: 'Alhamdulillahil-ladhi kasani hadhath-thawba wa razaqanihi min ghairi hawlin minni wa la quwwah.' (All praise is due to Allah, Who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, though I myself did not have the strength or ability.)
