All praise is due to Allah Who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, from You without strength or power from me.

Virtues & Benefits
This dua embodies profound gratitude. It reminds us that every blessing, including the clothes that cover us, comes from Allah, not from our own might or effort. By reciting it, we acknowledge our complete dependence on Him. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua to express our thankfulness, recognizing that Allah is the one who provides, protects, and enables us. This act of remembrance can protect us from feelings of arrogance and remind us to be humble, seeking His cover not just physically but also from any potential shame or embarrassment that might arise from our deeds or circumstances.
