This act of thankfulness is pleasing to Allah. Secondly, by acknowledging our dependence on Allah and His power, we invite His continued protection and blessings. It serves as a spiritual shield, warding off envy and the negative effects that can sometimes accompany new possessions, by framing the acquisition of the clothing within a context of divine grace and seeking Allah's refuge.
