الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

All praise is due to Allah, who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.

‘Ubaidullah bin Abi Rafi’ narrated from his father that the Prophet ﷺ, when he woke up, used to say: 'Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbil-‘alamin, alhamdulillahilladhi ahyaana ba’da ma amaatana wa ilayhi an-nushoor. La ilaha illallah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer. Subhanallahi wa bil hamdi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil-‘aliyyil-‘adheem.'
