Narrated Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him): Whenever the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ got up for the night prayer, he would clean his teeth with the Siwak. Then he would say: ' (Peace be upon you) Allah! You have bestowed upon me my soul, and You will take it away. You will cause me to die and bring me to life again. So, please forgive me my sins. I ask You for goodness, and for the remembrance of You, and for the good of the actions of that day, and for goodness in the actions of the coming night. And forgive me my sins.' The Prophet ﷺ would also say: 'Alhamdulillah alladhi ahyana ba'da ma amata-na wa ilaihi an-nushoor.' (All praise is for Allah Who revived us after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection).
