Narrated Hudhaifah: Whenever the Prophet ﷺ got up for the night (to pray), he would say: 'Allah Akbar! Glory be to Allah! All praise is due to Allah! There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest!' Then he would say: 'O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hellfire, and from the trials of the False Dajjal, and from the trials of life and death.' Then he would say: 'O Allah! I seek refuge in You from sin and debt.' Then he would say: 'Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Him! (I seek refuge) in what I wish.' When he would wake up from sleep and say: 'All praise is for Allah, who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the [final] return.'
