الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
All praise is due to Allah, who has given us life after causing us to die (sleep) and to Him is the resurrection.

Narrated Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him): When the Prophet (ﷺ) went to bed, he would say, "Allahumma bismika amutu wa ahya." (O Allah, in Your Name I die and I live.) And when he woke up, he would say, "Al-hamdu lil-lahil-ladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilaihin-nushur." (All praise is due to Allah, who has given us life after causing us to die (sleep) and to Him is the resurrection.)
