Sahih HadithSahih al-Bukhari 6312

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

All praise is for Allah Who gave us life after death, and to Him is the return.

Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyaana ba'da ma amaatana wa ilahin-nushoor

Narrated Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him): Whenever the Prophet (peace be upon him) got up for the night prayer, he would clean his mouth with Siwak and then say: 'Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyaana ba'da ma amaatana wa ilahin-nushoor.' (All praise is for Allah Who gave us life after death, and to Him is the return.) Then he would pray.'
