Sahih HadithSahih al-Bukhari 6312

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

All praise is for Allah, who brought us back to life after giving us death, and to Him is the resurrection.

Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyaana ba'da ma amaatana wa ilahin-nushoor

When to Read

This dua is recited immediately upon waking from sleep, before even getting out of bed or engaging in any daily activities. It's the very first utterance of the day, setting the tone and intention for what follows.
