Source & Authentication

Narrated Hudhaifah: Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) got up for the night (to offer the night prayer), he would say: 'Allah is the Greatest! Glorified are You, O Allah, and praised! ...' He would then say: 'All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.' He would say: 'I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.' Then he would recite three verses from the end of Surah Al-Imran... Then he would perform ablution and offer the prayer. And when he woke up from sleep, he would say: 'All praise is due to Allah, who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.'
