الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

All praise is for Allah, Who gave us life after death, and to Him is the return.

Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilaihin-nushur.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'When Allah brings any of you to the morning, let him say: Alhamdulillah alladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilaihin-nushur (All praise is for Allah, Who gave us life after death, and to Him is the return). And when he is about to sleep, let him say: Alhamdulillah alladhi anzala al-sakinata fi qulubi al-mu'minin (All praise is for Allah, Who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers).'
