Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them): The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to teach them this invocation in the same way he used to teach them a Surah of the Qur'an. He (peace be upon him) would say: 'Allahumma-ghfirli, warhamni, wahdini, warzuqni, wa 'afini (O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, provide for me, and protect me).' - Sahih Muslim 702
