Source & Authentication
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'When any one of you wakes up, he should say: ‘Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi ahyaana ba’da ma amaatana wa ilahin-nushoor.’ (All praise is for Allah, Who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection). And when he goes to sleep, he should say: ‘Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi wakafa wasaala, wal-hamdu lillahil-ladhi afaana. Ash-hadu all al-hakka wa adaanah, wa shahadat-u anni bil-haqqi musallimun. Allahumma inni as-aluka rizqan tayyiban wa 'ilman naafi'an wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.’ (All praise is for Allah, Who sufficed us and gave us what we needed, and praise is for Allah, Who granted us well-being. I bear witness that the truth is from Allah, and that He fulfilled His promise, and I bear witness that I am a Muslim submitting to the truth. O Allah, I ask You for pure provision, beneficial knowledge, and accepted deeds).'
