الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Praise be to Allah, who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the [final] resurrection.

It was narrated that Al-Bara' bin 'Azib said: "When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) woke up, he would say: 'Alhamdu lillāhilladhī aḥyānā baʿda mā amātanā wa-ilayhin-nushūr.' (Praise be to Allah, who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the [final] resurrection). And when he went to sleep, he would say: 'Allahumma bismika amūtu wa aḥya.'
