O Allah, guide us and set us on the right path, remind us of our true guidance, forgive us in times of ease and hardship, have mercy upon us, accept our repentance, guide us to our Qiblah, complete Your favor upon us, employ us in the practice of the Sunnah of Your Prophet ﷺ, cause us to die upon his religion, and resurrect us in his company.
Allahumma ihdina wa saddidna, wadhkur rushadana, waghfir lana fi sarrā'i wa darrā'in, warhamna, wa tub 'alaynā, wahdina liqiblatinā, wa atimm 'alaynā ni'mataka, wasta'milnā bi-sunnati nabiyyika ﷺ, wa tawaffana 'alā millatihi, wahshurna fi zumratihi.

The mention of 'employ us in the practice of the Sunnah' is a direct plea to remain connected to the teachings and way of life of the Prophet ﷺ, which is a safeguard against deviant ideologies. Finally, asking to be 'resurrected in his company' is the ultimate aspiration for all believers.
