Dua for the Unity and Strength of the Ummah

For the Ummah
Sahih HadithSunan Abi Dawud 4919

O Allah, unite their hearts, and reconcile their differences, and guide them to the ways of peace, and deliver them from darkness to light, and bless their hearing, and their sight, and their hearts, and their spouses, and their offspring, and accept their repentance. Verily, You are the Accepter of repentance, the Merciful. And make us thankful for Your blessings, praising You for them, and accepting them from us, and setting them right for us. O Allah, our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of the Fire.

When to Read

It is especially powerful to recite during times of reflection, after prayers, or when gathering with others who share a concern for the collective state of Muslims.

How to Read

It also incorporates the universally beloved Quranic dua for well-being in this life and the next (Al-Baqarah 2:201). Reciting it fosters a sense of shared responsibility and deepens our connection to the wider Muslim community.
