Dua for the Protection of the Ummah from Natural Disasters

For the Ummah
Hasan HadithSunan Abi Dawud 1554

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from demolition, and I seek refuge in You from being thrown from a height, and I seek refuge in You from drowning, burning, and extreme old age. I seek refuge in You from being snatched by Satan at the time of death, and I seek refuge in You from dying while retreating (in battle), and I seek refuge in You from dying from a poisonous sting.

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hadmi, wa a'udhu bika minat-taraddi, wa a'udhu bika minal-gharqi, wal-haraqi, wal-harami, wa a'udhu bika an yatakhabbaṭani-sh-shayṭanu 'indal-mawt, wa a'udhu bika an amuta fi sabilika mudbiran, wa a'udhu bika an amuta ladigha.

Reciting this dua with firm belief is a way to safeguard ourselves and the Ummah from Allah's decree of severe trials.
