Dua for Successful Intercession and Resolution of Disputes Among Muslims

For the Ummah
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 771

O Allah, guide me to the best of manners, for none guides to the best of them but You. And turn me away from evil conduct, for none turns away from evil conduct but You.

Allahumma ihdini li-ahsani al-akhlaqi la yahdi li-ahsaniha illa anta, wasrif 'anni sayyi'aha la yasrifu 'anni sayyi'aha illa anta

Picture the ideal of brotherhood and sisterhood in Islam and ask Allah to help you embody it.

Virtues & Benefits

Seeking Allah's guidance to the best of manners (akhlaq) is fundamental to resolving disputes. Good character, such as patience, kindness, forgiveness, and humility, naturally diffuses tension and opens pathways to reconciliation. This dua directly asks for Allah's intervention in shaping our character, acknowledging that true change comes from Him alone. By praying for this, we align ourselves with the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who was sent as a mercy and an example of excellent conduct. Such supplication can lead to peaceful resolutions, strengthen bonds within the Ummah, and earn Allah's pleasure.
