O Allah, forgive the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, those among them who are alive and those who are deceased. Verily, You are the All-Hearing, the Near, the Responder of supplications.
Allahumma-ghfir lil-muslimeena wal-muslikmati, wal-mu'mineena wal-mu'minati, al-ahyaa'i minhum wal-amwati, innaka samee'un qareebun mujeebud-da'awaat.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered. An angel is stationed by his head, and whenever he supplicates for his brother, the angel says 'Ameen, and may the like be for you.' When he supplicates for himself, he says 'Ameen, and may Allah grant you the like of it.' And he narrated: 'O Allah, forgive the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the living among them and the dead, verily, You are the All-Hearing, the Near, the Responder of supplications.'
