Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mounted his camel for the journey, he would glorify Allah three times (saying Allahu Akbar), and then he would say: 'Glory be to Allah, who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves. And to our Lord we are destined to return.' Then he would say: 'O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in this journey of ours, and [we ask] for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and let us cover a great distance. O Allah, You are the Companion in the journey and the Successor in the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of the journey and from seeing an [unpleasant] sight in the family and in property.' And when he returned, he recited them (these words) and repeated: 'We return, repenting to our Lord, worshipping and praising our Lord.' He did not mention anything more than that.
