Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 2709

Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it ourselves. And indeed, to our Lord we will return. O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in our journey, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us, and shorten its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor over the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, the sorrow of seeing misfortune, and evil turns in wealth and family. We return, repentant, worshipping, praising our Lord. Allah has fulfilled His promise, aided His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.

Subhanalladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinina wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqalibuna. Allahumma inna nas'aluka fi safarina hadha al-birra wat-taqwa, wa minal 'amali ma tarda. Allahumma hawwin 'alayna safarana hadha, w-atwi 'anna bu'dahu. Allahumma Antas-Sahibu fis-safari wal-Khaleefatu fil-ahli. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari wa ka'abatil-mandhari wa su'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahli. Raja'na, ta'ibina, 'abidina, li-Rabbina hamidina. Source & Authentication

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When returning from Hajj or Umrah or Sariyyah (i.e., a military expedition), it was said to the Prophet (ﷺ): 'O Messenger of Allah, the people have gained a victory and have been well and successfully preserved!' Upon this he said: 'Do you speak about your victories? Do you speak about your achievements? For us, the People of the House of Muhammad (ﷺ), there is no worldly reward, but when we return, we say: 'Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it ourselves. And indeed, to our Lord we will return.' (Al-Baqarah: 43). O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in our journey, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us, and shorten its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor over the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, the sorrow of seeing misfortune, and evil turns in wealth and family.' When we returned, we would say: 'We return, repentant, worshipping, praising our Lord.' And Allah has said: 'We have commanded Abraham concerning it: 'Purify My House for those who circle it, and those who stand to pray, and those who bow and prostrate.' (Al-Baqarah: 125). And when he returned (from his trip), he said: 'Verily, I have gone to my Lord (as commanded), and He will guide me!' (As-Saffat: 99-100)."
