How to Read

Recite this with sincerity, picturing Allah as your sole protector and advocate. Utter it with conviction, letting the meaning settle in your heart: Allah knows your true intentions, and He is your ultimate support. Repeat it as many times as needed to feel peace and strength.

Virtues & Benefits

This phrase was famously uttered by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he was thrown into the fire, and by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions when they faced the overwhelming forces at the Battle of Uhud. It signifies complete trust in Allah's plan and protection, bringing immense peace and relief. When you say this, you are entrusting the outcome and the judgment of your situation to Allah, freeing yourself from the burden of seeking validation from people.

Source & Authentication

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: "Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel" was said by Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he was thrown into the fire, and it was said by Muhammad ﷺ when they (the companions) said: 'Verily, the people are gathering against you (O Muhammad), so fear them.' But it increased them in Faith, and they said: 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel.'
