Dua for Trusting Allah's Strength When Facing a Personal Moral Dilemma

Trust in Allah
Hasan HadithSunan At-Tirmidhi 2992

O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds and abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. I ask You to forgive me and have mercy upon me. And if You intend to try a people, take me to Yourself without letting me be tried. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds that bring me closer to Your love.

Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'la khayraat, wa tarkal munkaraat, wa hubbal masaakeen, wa an taghfir li wa tarhamani, wa idha aradta fitnatan fi qawmin fa tawaffani ghayra maftoon. As'aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amal yuqarribuni ila hubbik.
