O Allah, I ask You for its (the new venture/job) goodness, and the goodness of its people, and the goodness of what it contains. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, and the evil of its people, and the evil of what it contains.
Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha wa khayra ahliha wa khayra ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ahliha wa sharri ma fiha.

Source & Authentication
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that when the Prophet ﷺ would set out on a journey, he would say: Allahumma inni as'aluka fi safri hadha al-birra wa al-taqwa, wa min al-'amali ma tarda, Allahumma hawwin 'alayna safra hadha wa 'tu 'ayna bi ahlihi. Wa a'udhu bika min wa'tha' al-sadr wa su' al-muntalaq. (Meaning: O Allah, I ask You for righteousness and piety in this journey of ours, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and make its (people/things) accessible to us. And I seek refuge in You from the weariness of the chest and from bad circumstances.) This narration is about journey, but the essence of seeking the good of the journey and its people and seeking refuge from its evil is directly applicable to a new career path, which can be seen as a personal 'journey'. Another related dua for entering a new place or venture is the one provided above, which is more specific to the situation of a new job or undertaking.
