Trust in Allah
Sahih HadithSahih al-Bukhari 4563

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel

When to Read

Recite this when you find yourself overwhelmed by criticism, harsh comments, or a wave of negativity online. It's perfect for those moments when your reputation feels attacked or your efforts are misunderstood on social media, and you need to remind yourself that ultimate reliance is on Allah.

How to Read

Recite this powerful phrase with sincerity, truly feeling its meaning in your heart. Say it with conviction, visualizing your worries and the online storm being placed directly in Allah's care. Repeat it as needed, especially during periods of intense online scrutiny.

Virtues & Benefits

This statement was first uttered by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he was cast into the fire, and it was responded to by Allah by making the fire cool and safe for him. It was also recited by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when the people said, 'Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them.' But it only increased them in faith, and they said, 'Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 4563). Reciting this embodies Tawakkul (trust in Allah) and brings peace to the heart, acknowledging that no harm can reach us except by Allah's decree, and He is the most capable protector.

Source & Authentication

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel' was said by Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he was thrown into the fire, and it was said by Muhammad ﷺ when they (the companions) said: 'Verily, the people have gathered against you [O Muhammad], so fear them.' Then Allah revealed: 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel' (3:173). Sahih al-Bukhari 4563.
