Sahih HadithSahih al-Bukhari 6306

حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ

Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but He. On Him do I place my trust. He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.

Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul 'Arshil 'Adheem.

When to Read

This powerful dua is recommended to be recited seven times in the morning and seven times in the evening. Narrated by Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever says in the morning and in the evening: 'Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul 'Arshil 'Adheem.' (Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but He. On Him do I place my trust. He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.) seven times, Allah will suffice him against any harm that might trouble him in this world or the next." (Sahih al-Bukhari 6306)
