Dua for Releasing Control and Trusting Allah's Decree (Tawakkul)

Trust in Allah
Hasan HadithSunan At-Tirmidhi 3406

O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and resolve in guidance, and I ask You for the ability to be grateful for Your favors and to worship You well. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know. And I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know. Indeed, You are the Knower of the unseen.

Allahumma inni as'alukath-thabata fil-amr, wal-'azeemata 'alar-rushd, wa as'aluka shukra ni'matik, wa husna 'ibadatik, wa as'aluka qalban saleeman, wa lisaanan saadiqan, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma ta'lam, wa as'aluka min khairi ma ta'lam, wa astaghfiruka mimma ta'lam, innaka anta 'allamul-ghuyoob.
