O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all affairs, and for the resolve to do what is right. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your favors and to worship You in the best manner. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil You know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, for You are the Knower of all hidden things.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to say: (Sunan At-Tirmidhi 3495 - The Hadith mentions two versions, this is the version more relevant to the request for general life transitions, focusing on internal qualities and seeking good/refuge from evil. The first part of the Hadith contains specific supplications for seeking refuge which are also valuable but not directly requested here).
