How to Read

Repeating it regularly, especially after prayers or at the start of your study session, can further enhance its impact.

Virtues & Benefits

This comprehensive dua, taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself, asks Allah for three crucial things for success in any endeavor: 1. **Beneficial Knowledge ('Ilman Nafi'an):** This isn't just about acquiring information, but knowledge that benefits you, your deen, and others. For a new skill, it means understanding it deeply and applying it correctly. 2. **Goodly Provision (Rizqan Tayyiban):** This encompasses sustenance in its broadest sense – not just financial, but health, time, and opportunities needed to learn and master the skill. 3. **Acceptable Deeds ('Amalan Mutaqabbalan):** This is the ultimate goal – that the effort you put into learning and applying the skill is accepted by Allah. This ensures your hard work aligns with His pleasure. By asking for these, we align our pursuit of a new skill with seeking Allah's pleasure and making it a means for our spiritual and worldly betterment.
