اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace, so that I may not need anyone but You.
Allahumma-kfini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak.

Virtues & Benefits
This comprehensive dua encompasses seeking protection from haram (unlawful) earnings, which can lead to blessings and purity in one's sustenance. It also asks for Allah's bounty, making one independent of creation and thus preventing the need to resort to unlawful means or burdensome debt. By seeking sufficiency from Allah alone, we acknowledge our complete reliance on Him, which is a source of great peace and contentment. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua to his companion Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was in debt, and it is a profound means of seeking relief from financial burdens.
Source & Authentication
Narrated Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him): A man, a client of ours, came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, my wealth has greatly diminished and my family is in need.' He said: 'Recite: Allahumma-kfini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak. (O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace, so that I may not need anyone but You.)' He recited this twice, and then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'O Allah, help him with what is lawful and suffice him by Your own grace and make him not need anyone else.'
