In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm on earth or in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

How to Read

Repeating it three times can add to its strength and your focus.

By invoking Allah's name in this manner, you are seeking His direct intervention to ward off any negative forces, ill intentions, or harmful interference that might target your marriage. It strengthens the bond between spouses by uniting them in seeking Allah's refuge, fostering reliance on Him rather than on any created means. The phrase 'nothing can cause harm' is a profound statement of Tawhid (Oneness of Allah) and His absolute control over all affairs.

Narrated by Abdullah (bin Mas'ud): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If anyone says, 'Bismillahilladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-Samee'ul-Aleem' three times, he will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until morning comes, and if anyone says it in the morning three times, he will not be afflicted by sudden calamity until morning comes. Abu Dawud said: I heard Malik ibn Anas say: I have tested this prayer (by reciting it) for my own benefit for a long time, and I recited it one night and my leg was injured. Then I remembered my words and I said it again and the pain ceased.
