اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the suffering and heal him/her, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.

Allahumma Rabb an-nas, adh-hib il-ba's, ishfi anta ash-shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqaman.

How to Read

Recite this dua with a sincere heart, focusing on your intention for your spouse's well-being. It is recommended to place your hand on the area of pain or illness while reciting. Repeat it multiple times, for example, seven times, as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ often did for himself and others when seeking healing.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite the following words when visiting a sick person: 'Allahumma Rabb an-nas, adh-hib il-ba's, ishfi anta ash-shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqaman.' (O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the suffering and heal him/her, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness behind.)
