Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr: The Prophet ﷺ said: If any of you marries a woman, he should take her by the forelock and pray for blessing in her and say: O Allah, I ask You for its goodness and the goodness of what You have decreed for her, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what You have decreed for her. And if he buys a riding camel, he should take hold of its forelock and pray for blessing in it and say the like of that. (Sunan Abi Dawud 2149, Sahih Muslim 2082 - with slight variations in wording, focusing on the general principle of seeking blessing when acquiring something valuable, including a spouse).
