O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is effective. Your judgment upon me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or have retained in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and old age, and from stinginess. And I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the trials of life and death.
Allahumma inni 'abdunka, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu amatik, nasiyatii biyadika, madin fiyya hukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qada'uka, as'aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw anzaltahu fi kitabiika, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilm-il-ghaybi 'indaka, an taj'ala al-Qur'ana rabi'a qalbi, wa nuura sadri, wa jalaa'a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wal-jubni wal-harami, wal-buخli, wa a'udhu bika min 'adhab-il-qabri, wa min fitnat-il-mahyaa wal-mamaat.

Source & Authentication
It was narrated from Abu Al-Zubayr that Jabir heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "No one says: 'Allahumma inni 'abdunka, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu amatik, nasiyatii biyadika, madin fiyya hukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qada'uka, as'aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw anzaltahu fi kitabiika, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilm-il-ghaybi 'indaka, an taj'ala al-Qur'ana rabi'a qalbi, wa nuura sadri, wa jalaa'a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi' - except that Allah will remove his worry and compensate him with something better." Jabir said: "So I went to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have learned these words.' He said: 'We learn them from the mouths of the messengers of Allah, and you learn them from my mouth.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, shall I not learn them?' He said: 'Yes, indeed.' I said: 'Shall I not teach them to the one who asks me?' He said: 'Yes, indeed. And what do you do with them?' I said: 'I say them during the day and at night and I am asking Allah for what I have learned.' He said: 'Then by Allah, you will not ask for anything except that Allah will give it to you.' (Sahih Muslim 771)
