The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'When any of you sneezes and praises Allah, it is the duty of every Muslim who hears him to say: 'Yarhamuk Allah' (May Allah have mercy on you). And when the 'aphthath' (a disease of the eyes), the 'junun' (madness), the 'judham' (leprosy), and the 'sayyi' al-asqam' (evil diseases) were mentioned in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, he would say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-barasi wal-jununi wal-judhami wa min sayyi'il-asqam' (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from leprosy, madness, elephantiasis, and from all evil diseases).
