Dua for Safe Childbirth and Mother's Recovery

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ‏اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ سُؤَالَ الْبَائِسِ الْفَقِيرِ ، وَأَدْعُوكَ دُعَاءَ الْمُضْطَرِّ ، وَأَتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيْكَ تَوَسُّلَ ذِي الزَّلَّةِ وَالْخِطَرِ ، أَنْ لاَ تُشْمِتَ بِيَ الأَعْدَاءَ ، وَلاَ تُبْغِضْ إِلَيَّ الأَقْرِبَاءَ ، وَلاَ تُبَاعِدْنِي مِنْكَ ، وَلاَ تُزْوِنِي مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ ، وَلاَ تَكِلْنِي إِلَى غَيْرِ ثِقَتِي ، وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ لِيَ حَظًّا مِنْ أَمْرِي ، وَأَنْ تَدْفَعَ عَنِّي الأَذَى ، وَتُعَافِيَنِي فِي نَفْسِي ، وَفِي أَهْلِي ، وَفِي مَالِي ، وَلَا تُسَلِّطْ عَلَيَّ مَنْ لاَ يَرْحَمُنِي ، وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ . اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ ، عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَأَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ، مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ ، وَلَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ ، أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ، وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الأَعْظَمِ ، الَّذِي إِذَا دُعِيتَ بِهِ أَجَبْتَ ، وَإِذَا سُئِلْتَ بِهِ أَعْطَيْتَ ، أَنْ تُخَفِّفَ عَنْ فُلاَنَةَ (تذكر اسمها) وَتُيَسِّرَ عَلَيْهَا وَلادَتَهَا ، وَأَنْ تُعَافِيَهَا وَابْنَهَا (أو ابنتها) ، وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَهُمَا سَالِمَيْنِ غَانِمَيْنِ ، كَامِلَيْنِ ، لَا نَاقِصِينَ ، أَلْفَافًا ، وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ ذَلِكَ سَبَبًا لِغُفْرَانِ ذُنُوبِنَا ، وَأَنْ تَسْتَجِيبَ دُعَاءَنَا ، إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ، وَبِالْإِجَابَةِ جَدِيرٌ ، وَبِاللُّطْفِ خَبِيرٌ ، وَأَنْتَ حَسْبُنَا وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ .

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, I ask You with the asking of the wretched, the needy, and I call upon You with the call of the one in distress. I plead to You with the plea of one who has erred and is in danger, that You do not let my enemies rejoice over me, nor make my relatives hate me. Do not distance me from You, nor deprive me of Your mercy. Do not entrust me to anyone other than my trust in You. Do not grant me a share in my affair that leads to my ruin. Ward off harm from me, and grant me well-being in myself, my family, and my wealth. Do not let anyone who has no mercy upon me gain power over me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. I have placed my trust in You, and You are the Lord of the Mighty Throne. Whatever Allah wills happens, and whatever He does not will does not happen. There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. I know that Allah is capable of all things, and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge. O Allah, I ask You by Your Greatest Name, that when You are called by it, You answer, and when You are asked by it, You give. I ask You to ease the burden for [mention her name] and make her childbirth easy, and grant her and her son (or daughter) good health, and make them both safe, victorious, complete, without any deficiency, thriving. And make this a means for the forgiveness of our sins, and answer our supplication. Indeed, You are capable of all things, worthy of answering, and aware of kindness. You are sufficient for us, and the best Disposer of affairs. There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.

Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim. Allahumma inni as'aluka su'al al-ba'is al-faqir, wa ad'uka du'a al-mudtar, wa atawassalu ilayka tawassul dhi az-zallah wal-khatar, an la tushammita bi al-a'da', wa la tubghida ilay al-aqraba', wa la tuba'idni minka, wa la tuzwini min rahmatik, wa la takilni ila ghayri thiqati, wa la taj'al li hazzan min amri, wa an tadfa' 'anni al-adha, wa tu'afiyani fi nafsi, wa fi ahli, wa fi mali, wa la tusallit 'alayya man la yarhamuni, wa anta Arhamur-Rahimin. Allahumma anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta, 'alayka tawakkaltu wa anta Rabbul-'Arshil-'Adhim. Ma sha' Allahu kana, wa lam yasha' lam yakun, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil-'Aliyyil-'Adhim. A'lamu annallaha 'ala kulli shay'in Qadir, wa annallaha qad ahata bikulli shay'in 'ilma. Allahumma inni as'aluka bisimik al-a'dham, alladhi idha du'ita bihi ajabta, wa idha su'ilta bihi a'tayta, an tukhassifa 'an Fulana (mention her name) wa tuyassira 'alayha waladataha, wa an tu'afiyaha wa ibnaha (or ibnataha), wa an taj'alahuma salimayni ghanimayni, kamilayni, la naqisayni, alfafan, wa an taj'ala dhalika sababan li ghufrani dhunubina, wa an tastajiba du'ana, innaka 'ala kulli shay'in Qadir, wa bil-ijabati jadir, wa bil-lutfi khabir, wa anta Hasbunallah wa Ni'mal-Wakeel, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil-'Aliyyil-'Adhim.
